The Challenge at Gladewater The Challenge at Gladewater is never short of surprises and always offers a challenging yet fun round of golf. Designed by Jack Hearrell, our course opened for play in 1933 and in 2008 James Dobson along with Burt Langley designed the new nine holes with updates to the existing nine to provide the newest eighteen-hole course in East Texas.
